A beautiful morning on the Watson Lake trail in Prescott, Arizona. The trail around the lake is supposed to be five miles. The last time I tried to hike the trail we actually got sidetracked onto a different trail and did a 12 mile hike.
I was determined to follow the trail this time, however, up in the rocks I somehow took a wrong turn and doubled back. So I circled around the boulders and returned the way I came for a total of 5.5 miles that took me around an hour and twenty minutes.
The weather was perfect in the upper sixties and the creeks were all flowing which was fun to see and hear. There were a few muddy spots but nothing I could work around. I snapped a few pictures and will try to load them.
