Ran the new route which is 3.25 miles. Lots of shade on this route which is great because it is still 84 degrees at 6:00am this time of the year. Run was a little slower but pace doesn’t matter. Getting the miles in is what matters! Run happy!

RSD #1,542, #1,543 & #1,544 Damn Slacker
Life is getting in the way of blogging daily. Same route the last three days and very similar runs so not much to report. I do love running every day and do hope that my lack of blogging each day doesn’t project negatively on my daily runs. Running for me is actually easier then blogging….
RSD #1,541 Just another day
Another day of suffering.
RSD #1,540 Relax to go faster
That was the message on the Darren Daily this morning. I subscribe to and listen most days to Darren Hardy and his Darren Daily message. It is an excellent way to start the day with some wisdom, inspiration, and a positive message. Today his message was around the concept of relax to go faster. He…
RSD #1,537, #1,538, and #1,539 Slacker!
That’s me! Today is Monday, August 22nd and I took a break from my computer over the weekend. The weather was cooler with lots of thunderstorms over the last few days. Didn’t get rained on during my runs which was a little disappointing. Found a slightly better route at the new house that extends the…
RSD #1,536 Good vibes
My run today fueled me up and I felt good vibes from all I encountered on my route. Just one of those days where the world seems a little brighter. Even though it was cloudy and muggy it was a bright and beautiful morning run. Run happy!
RSD #1,534 & #1,535 The Crossing Guard
Really thought I posted yesterday. It’s been a long week and it is only Thursday. Still working then coming home and unpacking boxes and putting things away. Today I witnessed a car almost take out the school crossing guard as he was moving the 15 mile an hour sign into the road. The crossing guard…
RSD #1,533 The Extra Mile…Fred Factor
Just finished listening to the Fred Factor by Mark Sanborn today and then came upon this quote on Facebook today: Running Truth: The extra mile is always much easier than the first mile. Isn’t that true with so many things. Isn’t it easier to be a Fred and go the extra mile at work, at…
RSD #1,532 Last run at Bronco Ln
Today was my last day at the Bronco Lane house and therefore my running route when visiting there. It was a horseshoe shaped route with some small hills, lots of trees, and wide sidewalks. There were usually people out walking their dogs, biking, or just out strolling and it didn’t matter what time of the…
RSD #1,531 Watson Lake in Prescott
A beautiful morning on the Watson Lake trail in Prescott, Arizona. The trail around the lake is supposed to be five miles. The last time I tried to hike the trail we actually got sidetracked onto a different trail and did a 12 mile hike. I was determined to follow the trail this time, however,…
